Hi there, I’m Sarah and it’s nice to meet you. I’m a small business owner and bookkeeping nerd.

I started my journey as a bookkeeper after successfully running a retail store with a brick-and-mortar location and online presence for 10 years (that business is still going and I do still work there!)

Throughout my time as a small business owner I encountered hundreds of other small and micro business owners (or aspiring owners) who had wonderful ideas and amazing businesses they wanted to create, but for many of them, the idea of doing their bookkeeping was daunting.

Bookkeeping is something that I really love and enjoy, but I know that’s not the same for many people, and over time I found myself being called to the idea of helping other owners with this particular aspect of running a business.
Thus, Blue Sky Bookkeeping Co was born.

I’m here to support other business owners so they can focus on the aspects of their business that they enjoy, that way they don’t have to get as bogged down in the parts that they don’t.

When I’m not working I can be found reading, playing with plants, skiing, camping, hiking, and enjoying time with my partner and our tiny human, hopefully somewhere outside under a big beautiful blue sky.
